Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain a high-performance network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate should have expertise in routing & switching, fiber & FTTH, IPTV. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with Cisco IXR/IXE, MikroTik, Fortinet, and a deep understanding of MPLS, BGP, Multicasting, RADIUS, Procera Sandvine and access technologies like IPoE and PPPoE.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering
- Network Infrastructure: Design, configure, and maintain robust network solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Fiber & FTTH Networks: Plan, deploy, and troubleshoot fiber distribution networks.
- IPTV & Multicast: Configure and optimize multicast networks for IPTV distribution, ensuring seamless content delivery.
- Security & Access Control: Implement network security policies using Fortinet and Cisco ASA firewalls, VPNs, and authentication mechanisms.
- Power & Backup Systems: Manage UPS and power redundancy solutions to ensure network uptime.
- Monitoring & Performance: Utilize SolarWinds, Zabbix, and other NMS tools for proactive monitoring and optimization.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work with cross-functional teams to support operations, troubleshoot issues, and document network configurations and processes.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Communication Engineering (CCE), Telecommunications, or Information Technology.
Tecnichal Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in an ISP/DSP environment.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco IXR/IXE, MikroTik, and network troubleshooting.
- Expertise in MPLS (Layer 2 & Layer 3), BGP, Multicasting, NAT, IPoE, PPPoE.
- Hands-on experience with fiber optic networks, FTTH deployments.
- Knowledge of IPTV systems, multicast routing, and video stream optimization.
- Familiarity with UPS, redundant power solutions, and network power management.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, or PRTG.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
