Job Overview
We’re hiring a Senior Network Engineer with strong experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining high-performance network infrastructures.
You’ll work across routing, switching, fiber, FTTH, IPTV, security, and core network technologies to ensure seamless connectivity and reliable service delivery.
This role is built for someone with deep ISP/DSP experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and hands-on expertise with Cisco IXR/IXE, MikroTik, Fortinet, MPLS, BGP, Multicasting, and access technologies like IPoE and PPPoE.
Key Responsibilities
Network Infrastructure
Design, configure, and maintain secure, high-availability network solutions.
Optimise routing, switching, and core systems to ensure strong performance.
Fiber & FTTH Networks
Plan and deploy fiber distribution and FTTH setups.
Troubleshoot optical networks and ensure high-quality service.
IPTV & Multicast
Configure and optimise multicast networks for IPTV delivery.
Ensure smooth, uninterrupted content distribution across the network.
Security & Access Control
Implement and manage firewall policies using Fortinet and Cisco ASA.
Configure VPNs, authentication systems, and secure access layers.
Power & Backup Systems
Manage UPS systems and power redundancy to maintain service uptime.
Monitoring & Performance
Use SolarWinds, Zabbix, and other NMS tools for proactive monitoring.
Analyse performance metrics and optimise network behaviour.
Collaboration & Documentation
Work closely with operations and support teams.
Document configurations, topologies, and network procedures.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Communication Engineering (CCE), Telecommunications, or Information Technology.
Technical Skills & Experience
2–5 years of experience in an ISP/DSP environment.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Cisco IXR/IXE
MikroTik
Fortinet
Deep knowledge of:
MPLS (Layer 2 & Layer 3)
BGP
Multicasting
NAT
IPoE & PPPoE
Experience with fiber optic networks and FTTH deployments.
Knowledge of IPTV systems, multicast routing, and video optimisation.
Familiarity with UPS and power redundancy solutions.
Proficiency with SolarWinds, Zabbix, PRTG, or similar NMS platforms.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
